WHU official coaches
Unfortunately I could get a space on the Hornchurch coach for southampton on Wednesday so had to get the official club coach.

Does anyone know if they are proper strict on alcohol on there?

It won't be in cans or bottles etc but in plastic bottles etc

It's two and a half hours maybe to Southampton

If you really can't go that long without a drink then maybe think about just driving yourself? That way you can drink as much as you like and no need for plastic bottles either

I use the official coaches on a regular basis.

Bags get searched before boarding and alcohol is definitely not allowed.

There are now also two boarding points, at Pudding Mill Lane DLR station and at Rush Green Training Ground. Usually, someone phones a few days beforehand to ask at which place you will board.

At the beginning it hadn’t been properly thought through and there was to-ing and thro-in between the two points for latecomers.

Last time I used the club coach they checked everyone and took the top of my bottle of Orange juice which had been topped up with Vodka but could not detect this fact. Not sure i would be happy with someone sniffing my drink in this day and age.

This was about 35 years ago, sorry all I have to go on.

No, they are fine with alcohol. They also supply you with cocaine and hookers
